Moment extends onboard entertainment platform across Brittany Ferries fleet
FerryFrench onboard digital solutions provider Moment has expanded its partnership with Brittany Ferries, extending its entertainment platform to six vessels in the operator’s fleet. The rollout follows an initial deployment aboard SALAMANCA, PONT-AVEN and SANTOÑA. The expanded agreement now also includes SAINT-MALO and GUILLAUME DE NORMANDIE, the two hybrid RoPax ferries that entered service in 2025.
Brittany Ferries operates a fleet of 13 vessels across five Western European countries, linking France, England, Ireland and Spain, and carried more than two million passengers in 2025. According to Moment, its onboard entertainment services now reach more than one million passengers a year across the Brittany Ferries network. Across the six vessels, content viewing time per passenger has risen by more than 20% year-on-year.
Through Moment's MOOD and MOOD TV platforms, passengers can stream video-on-demand content, live TV channels and a multimedia catalogue on their own devices. The content selection is refreshed regularly and tailored to Brittany Ferries' French, Spanish and English-speaking passengers.
"In a sector that reached a new historic high in 2025, ferry crossings are no longer simply about getting from one destination to another, they have become part of the travel experience itself," said Tanguy Morel of Moment. "Travellers increasingly expect seamless connectivity and high-quality, personalised entertainment throughout their time on board."
Steven Perrot, Commercial Project Manager at Brittany Ferries, said: “Onboard entertainment has become part of how passengers experience the crossing, not an add-on. Extending it to the SAINT-MALO and GUILLAUME DE NORMANDIE as we renew the fleet was a natural step, so passengers get the same standard of experience across more of our routes.”
