Is it the end for Croisières de France?
Cruise French travel website Tour Hebdo reports that Croisières de France (CDF) will close its Paris office at the end of February.
CDF, which is a daughter of Pullmantur, was offering an all-inclusive 100% French language product. The company was the third biggest in France, after MSC and Costa.
In May 51% of Pullmantur had been acquired by Springwater Capital from Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Pullmantur's focus will be on the Spanish and Latin-American market.
French cruise passengers will now be booked via the Spanish head office, and the cruises will no longer be 100% in French, but in Spanish.
Pullmantur / CDF has four ships in the fleet: ZENITH, HORIZON, SOVEREIGN and MONARCH.
