Fincantieri delivers MEIN SCHIFF FLOW: second InTUItion-class cruise ship completed
CruiseFincantieri has delivered MEIN SCHIFF FLOW to TUI Cruises at its Monfalcone shipyard, marking completion of the second next-generation InTUItion-class cruise ship. The 160,000 GT vessel accommodates approximately 4,000 passengers and is designed for LNG dual-fuel operation.
The ship is equipped with catalytic converters compliant with Euro 6 standards, a steam turbine system utilising residual heat from diesel generators, and shore-power connection technology enabling virtually emission-free port operations. MEIN SCHIFF FLOW is also prepared to use low-emission alternative fuels including bio-LNG and e-LNG.
Fincantieri and TUI Cruises have strengthened their partnership through a contract signed in September 2025 for two additional InTUItion-class sister ships scheduled for delivery in 2031 and 2032.
