Finnlines' Sweden–Poland route celebrates 200,000 passenger milestone
FerryFinnlines' Malmö–Swinoujscie route has welcomed over 200,000 passengers since launch in April 2024, marking significant growth in direct Sweden–Poland connectivity. The Swedish Ambassador to Poland visited FINNFELLOW to celebrate the milestone, highlighting the route's importance for tourism, business travel and trade between the two countries.
Passenger volumes increased 39 per cent during summer 2025 compared with the route's first summer season, with more than half of all passengers Polish travellers. The route also serves as an important freight corridor between Scandinavia, Poland and Central Europe, with daily combined passenger and freight service.
Finnlines operates additional services from Poland including Gdynia–Hanko (six weekly freight departures) and North Sea services connecting Poland with key European markets.
