World’s first wireless charging for ferries successfully tested

TechWärtsilä in partnership with Cavotec has successfully installed the world’s first automatic wireless induction charging system on Norled’s hybrid ferry FOLGEFONN. Testing was carried out on the 85m double-ender between August and September.
