US operator CG Railway orders new rail ferry

Ro-roChinese shipbuilder Huangpu Wengchong Shipbuilding has secured a ‘first’ – a newbuilding contract for a rail ferry from US operator CG Railway for its service across the Gulf of Mexico from Mobile, Alabama to Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. No further details on the new ferry are known, although Shippax did contact CG Railway, but has yet to receive a reply.
