Seven Yield secures five-year charters for two Siem PCTCs
Ro-roThe Luxembourg-based Seven Yield has entered into five-year time charter agreements with a major Chinese automobile manufacturer for its two PCTCs SIEM CONFUCIUS and SIEM ARISTOTLE.
The vessels will be delivered into their new charters in 2027 and 2028, respectively, securing employment for each vessel for five years.
Built in 2020, the sister vessels SIEM CONFUCIUS and SIEM ARISTOTLE were the world’s first deepsea PCTCs equipped with LNG dual-fuel propulsion. Each vessel has a carrying capacity of 7,500 CEU and measures approximately 200 metres in length and 38 metres in breadth.
The agreements secure employment for both vessels for a further five years, supporting Seven Yield’s long-term contracted revenue base. Seven Yield is a maritime leasing and asset ownership company which corporate closely with Siem Industries.
