Ro-roFollowing its decision to put on hold its “salmon route” between Norway and Rotterdam, Faroe Island’s operator Smyril Line has switched the 1,511 lanemetre capacity ro-ro AKRANES to a new weekly, direct service linking the Icelandic west coast port of Thorlakshøfn, the capital of the Faroe’s, Tórshavn and Rotterdam.
