P&O Ferries understood to start new Calais-Tilbury freight ferry service end of September

Ro-roWith Brexit looming on the horizon, P&O Ferries has reportedly informed its freight customers that it will start a new freight-only ferry service between Calais and the port of Tilbury on the river Thames at the end of September this year. Channel House, P&O Ferries’ HQ, could not confirm the news and rather stated “that no final decision had been taken regarding Calais-Tilbury”.
