NIKOS TRAVLOS delivered
Ro-roNeptune Lines' second newbuilding, the 54,671 GT NIKOS TRAVLOS, has been delivered from the Fujian Mawei shipyard. The vessel is part of an eight-ship "Genesis" class contracted by the Greek PCTC operator. She is expected to arrive in the Mediterranean by the end of October, joining the extensive network of routes that the company operates in the Mediterranean and Black Sea.
Designed by Deltamarin, the 177.8 m long, 33.4 m beam PCTC has a capacity for 4,200 CEU on 12 decks. Equipped with a dual-fuel Everllence B&W 8S50ME-C9.7-GI main engine, the vessel has a service speed of 18 knots.
She has optimal dimensions and a shallow draught to serve Neptune Lines' wide variety of Mediterranean, Black Sea and European ports, some of which are unable to accept larger PCTCs.
