MOL Sunflower includes Miyazaki on their Tokyo-Kanda route
Ro-roA new scheduled RoRo freight service with a stop-over in Miyazaki Port on an existing route connecting Tokyo and Kanda has officially been launched by MOL Sunflower. The shortsea route is operated by the 1,920 lanemetre RoRo MUSASHI MARU and the RoPax SUNFLOWER DAISETSU with a similar freight capacity. SUNFLOWER DAISETSU has a passenger capacity of 154 which is not utilized on the route.
This is the first time in 21 years that a scheduled shipping route has been established at Miyazaki Port. The cargo ship will call at Miyazaki Port twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays, before heading to Tokyo.
