Major problems at Algérie Ferries’ top management and TARIQ IBN ZIYAD detained in Alicante

FerryThings at North African ferry operator Algérie Ferries (Enterprise Nationale de Transport Maritime de Voyageurs – ENTMV) have turned problematic, with senior management sacked and now arrested by the Government of a number of illegal activities and now one of their ro-pax ferries, TARIQ IBN ZIYAD, has been detained in the Spanish port of Alicante under Port State Control measures, believed to revolve around hygiene issues on the 1995-built vessel.
