Japanese ro-pax REIMEI MARU to enter service on 23 June

FerryThe latest ferry to join the Japanese domestic ferry fleet, the 121.4m REIMEI MARU, is about to be delivered by local shipbuilder Naikai Zosen’s Setoda shipyard to domestic ferry operator Uwajima Unyu. The 586-passenger capacity vessel will enter service on Uwajima Unyu’s 86 km route between Yawatahama and Beppu, linking the two main islands of Shikoku and Kyushu.
