Interislander signs binding contract for game-changing Cook Strait ferries

FerryFollowing a lengthy procurement process, KiwiRail-controlled ferry operator Interislander has now officially signed a binding contract with South Korean builders Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for the construction of two large rail-enabled ro-pax ferries which are due for delivery in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
