Höegh Autoliners welcomes HÖEGH PACIFIC, a new 2,450 CEU PCTC feeder
Ro-roHöegh Autoliners has taken delivery and named the HÖEGH PACIFIC, a 2,450 CEU PCTC feeder vessel. Though smaller than the company’s flagship Aurora-class ships, it strengthens regional connectivity between Central America, the Caribbean, and global markets.
The vessel, built at China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) in China and delivered ahead of schedule, is purpose-built for feeder and short-sea routes. It complements Höegh’s larger deep-sea fleet, which includes multiple 9,100 CEU Aurora-class PCTCs equipped with multi-fuel engines (LNG-capable and ammonia-ready) as part of the company’s drive toward net-zero emissions by 2040.
