Ro-roEarlier today, 4 September, the 10,620 gt freight ro-ro HIMAWARI 8 of Nippon Shipping Co.,Ltd. – a subsidiary of logistics giant Nippon Express Co., Ltd. – entered service on the Kushiro-Tomakomai-Tokyo route replacing the 2001-built HIMAWARI 1.
