GNV has extended the charter of its two Sietas-RoRos for another year

Ro-roStarting from September this year, GNV has extended the charter of the two RoRo vessels CAROLINE RUSS and ELISABETH RUSS for an additional 12 months. Both ships were also chartered to GNV on a 12-month agreement in September last year, and prior to that, they had likewise been employed by GNV for a longer cumulative period.

The two RoRo vessels, each with a capacity of 1,625 lanemetres, were delivered by the Sietas Shipyard in Hamburg in 1999 as part of a series of six ships, which also includes FRIEDRICH RUSS, GLYVURSNES (Smyril Line), LAKEWAY EXPRESS (Lakeway Link), and MISTRAL (owned by Godby Shipping and on charter to Lakeway Link from November).

CAROLINE RUSS and ELISABETH RUSS - along with FRIEDRICH RUSS - are owned by Ernst Russ Shipbroker GmbH & Co. KG. GNV operates the two chartered sister vessels on a route between Genoa and Palermo. FRIEDRICH RUSS has been employed by Suardiaz Lines between the UK and Spain since December 2022.
