Further delay for LNG-powered GLEN SANNOX, while Ardrossan Harbour gets the green light for major improvements
Aug 17 2018
FerryThe UK’s first LNG-powered ferry, CalMac’s 102.4m GLEN SANNOX, building Ferguson Marine Engineering Ltd (FMEL), has been further delayed and will not enter service on the Ardrossan-Brodick service to the Isle of Arran until August 2019. Originally due in service in the autumn of this year, technical issues with the design of the ferry pushed delivery back to the spring of 2019. No details have been given as to the reason for the further delay.
