PERFORMANCE
First Heysham-Max in full CLdN livery
Ro-roCLdN’s Heysham-Max RoRo PERFORMANCE became the first of the four former Seatruck Ferries sister vessels, built in 2011/12 at Flensburg, to appear in full CLdN livery. At the end of March, PERFORMANCE departed the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast following a scheduled dry docking and 15-year survey, newly painted in CLdN’s colours.
The Benelux-based CLdN acquired Seatruck Ferries from the Denmark-based Clipper Group back in September 2022. As part of the acquisition, CLdN also took over the four purpose-built 2,166 lanemetre Heysham-Max RoRo vessels: PERFORMANCE, PRECISION, POWER, and PROGRESS, all specially designed for the narrow port conditions at Heysham.
CLdN operates these vessels between Heysham and Warrenpoint/Dublin in competition with Stena Line’s route between Heysham and Belfast.
