Elb-Link files for insolvency

FerryGerman ferry operator Elb-Link has filed for insolvency on 6 March. This was confirmed by both the district court in Cuxhaven and the company’s managing director, Bernd Bässmann. Elb-Link was left without a ferry this week after the banks which own the ships (MUHUMAA and SAAREMAA) had withdrawn from the charter contract on short notice.
