Croatia postpones liberalisation of ferry lines

FerryThe Zagreb Government appears to delay the liberalization of the domestic ferry routes. Currently exclusively operated by state-owned Jadrolinija; the liberalization of the domestic ferry market was one of the mandatory provisions imposed by the European Commission to accept Croatia in the European Union. It is with dismay that international shipowners are waiting for the publication of tenders to grant maritime links.
