CLEAN STAR delivered and fixed on record charter
Ro-roAtlas Maritime has taken delivery of CLEAN STAR from CIMC Raffles in China. The 7,000 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC is the final vessel in a series of four from the shipyard. ECO STAR was delivered to Atlas Maritime in April this year, while the remaining two newbuildings in the series have been taken over by UGR.
Atlas Maritime also reports that CLEAN STAR has been fixed on a two-year charter at USD 80,000 per day, representing a record for Atlas Maritime, which operates in the market in partnership with EMF (European Maritime Finance).
