Car carrier newbuilding spree continues with COSCO Shipping JV ordering six further PCTC’s at Chinese yards

Ro-roThe car carrier newbuilding spree experienced during 2022 has continued towards the end of December with Guangzhou Yuanhai Car Carrier Transportation, a joint venture recently set up by COSCO Shipping specialised Carriers, SIPG Logistics and Anji Logistics, has ordered six further dual fuel LNG-powered 7,500 CEU capacity vessels from two Chinese yards.
