Brittany Ferries announces the reopening to passengers on the Le Havre-Portsmouth route
FerryBrittany Ferries announces the return of passenger activity from Le Havre. Travelers can now book for departures from 1 March 2023. As a result of the covid crisis, the route had, for the past few years, only been used for freight transport.
Passengers will travel aboard the COTENTIN which can accommodate up to 114 people in cabins. The ship has a self-service restaurant, a bar and a small shop.
"Passenger services will resume from Le Havre in 2023 and I am delighted that we can announce this news today", says Paul Acheson, Sales and Marketing Manager at Brittany Ferries. "These new rotations open the door to more possibilities for French travelers visiting the UK and, perhaps most importantly, vacationing in Ireland. These connections will also provide more options for UK visitors looking to holiday in the beautiful Seine-Maritime region."
In addition to the Le Havre/Portsmouth route in England, the ship will also carry passengers to Ireland on the Le Havre/Rosslare line.
