FerryAfter two years of the O.P.E. (“Crossing of the Straights) being cancelled, initially due to the Pandemic followed by a political spat between Spain and Morocco, the 2022 O.P.E. promises to be a bumper one. At least that is what Armas-Trasmediterranea and Balearia hope. A pent-up demand to travel obviously exists, but the unknown factor is what percentage will the ever-increasing flights, especially low-cost options, take of the overall market.
