Tallink Silja Line adds VICTORIA I as second vessel to the Tallinn-Stockholm route for summer peak season

FerryAs 31 May 2024, Tallink Silja Line will operate the company’s Tallinn-Stockholm route with two vessels - alongside the vessel BALTIC QUEEN, company’s vessel VICTORIA I will be added to the route. The two vessels will operate in tandem between the two Nordic capitals, bolstering significantly the frequency of departures from both Tallinn and Stockholm ahead of the busy summer peak travel season.

Marina Jõgi, Head of Group Products and Sales, Tallink Grupp, said:

"Adding a second vessel to the Tallinn-Stockholm route over the summer months gives our passengers more flexibility when planning trips during the peak tourism season. In addition, VICTORIA I will carry out special summer cruises, taking travellers and holidaymakers to Visby, Gotland's capital, altogether on eight occasions this season," said Marina Jõgi, Sales Director of Tallink Group.

"Special cruises to magical Visby, with its streets hemmed in romantic roses, are always a much-awaited summer destination for our customers. As a versatile travel destination, Gotland has plenty to offer to the whole family to discover, therefore this year we are offering more opportunities to visit the island than ever before," Jõgi added.

Special cruises to Visby onboard VICTORIA I, starting from Tallinn and Helsinki are scheduled with departures on 28 and 30 June; 8, 10 and 30 July, and 1, 3 and 5 August. The vessel arrives in Visby at 9.30 local time the next morning and departs from Visby at 18.30 in the evening, allowing cruise passengers to explore the sights of Visby and the rest of the island of Gotland throughout the day.

The company's vessel VICTORIA I has been until now operating on the company's Tallinn-Helsinki route since October last year, offering overnight cruises between Estonia and Finland.
