Stena Line “fully committed” to Fishguard ferry terminal in Wales

FerryStena Line has said that it is “fully committed to supporting and developing” its Fishguard ferry terminal following serious concerns about the Swedish company’s future intentions at the port after it confirmed on 20 June that it would not be investing in a new GBP 5 million linkspan at the port. The work in installing the new linkspan would have closed the ferry port for three months in early 2019. Local councillors described it a “worrying time” for the town.
