Rotor sail installed on VIKING GRACE

FerryStarting on 12 April, the Turku-Åland-Stockholm cruise ferry VIKING GRACE will become the first passenger ship in the world to utilize wind power through a rotor sail. The rotor sail, developed by the Finnish company Norsepower Oy Ltd, promises to cut fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions by up to 900 tonnes per year, depending on the wind conditions.
