FerryPolskie Promy, fully owned by Polska Zegluga Morska (PZM), have signed a contract with Remontowa Shipbuilding for three new hybrid ro-pax ferries, two of which will be built for their Unity Line subsidiary, and one likely for Polferries charter.
The RMDC (Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting) designed ferries will have four LNG dual-fuel engines and a battery pack, making them capable of 19 knots. They will be 195.6m long and have a capacity for 4,100 lanemetres of freight and 400 passengers.
