New ferry for Vaasa-Umeå getting closer to realization

FerryKvarken Link AB, jointly owned by the cities of Vaasa, Finland and Umeå, Sweden, has invited four shipyards for offers for a new ferry. Three shipyards are European and one Asian. According to a press release issued 12 July, the offers have to be handed in by 31 August 2018. The delivery date for the new ferry is 30 April 2021.
