Jalesh Cruises’ KARNIKA auctioned

CruiseTwo years ago, the Indian start-up Jalesh Cruises bought the former PACIFIC JEWEL from P&O Cruises Australia to offer cruises targeted at the Indian market under its new name KARNIKA. The company became a victim of COVID-19 and suspended its operations last month with KARNIKA now reportedly sold at auction for USD 11.65 million. Albeit not confirmed, it is understood that the new owners of KARNIKA will recycle the vessel in Alang, India.
