FINCANTIERI S.p.A.'s newly appointed Board of Directors, chaired by Biagio Mazzotta, confirmed Pierroberto Folgiero as CEO and Managing Director for the 2025–2027 term. Folgiero was granted extensive powers to manage the company and oversee business plans and budgets, while Mazzotta, as Chairman, handles institutional representation, corporate security, and risk management. Both will collaboratively shape communication, institutional relations, and international strategies. The Board, comprising Mazzotta, Folgiero, and eight directors (seven independent), meets Italian regulations and Borsa Italiana’s Corporate Governance Code for integrity and professionalism.
Fincantieri announced its strongest Q1 ever, with revenues of EUR 2,376 million, up 35% from Q1 2024, and EBITDA rising 54% to EUR 154 million. Growth was fueled by the defence sector and the newly launched Underwater segment, which contributed EUR 95 million in revenue with a 17% EBITDA margin. New orders reached EUR 11.7 billion, boosting the backlog to a record EUR 57.6 billion.
