Emergency repairs to Irish Ferries’ flagship ULYSSES take longer than originally anticipated

FerryULYSSES reported technical difficulties with its starboard cp propeller on 24 June, with the 50,938-gross-ton ro-pax entering drydock in Belfast on 28 June. Investigation and repair of the ferry (replacement of the starboard propeller shaft) were expected to be completed within five days, allowing ULYSSES to return to service on the Dublin-Holyhead service on 4 July.
