Big expansion plans for Turkey's UN Ro-Ro

Turkish operator UN Ro-Ro has announced €96m programme to increase capacity with eight of its current fleet of 12 vessels being lengthened to increase overall fleet capacity by 17 per cent.
An agreement has been reached with the Tuzla shipyard, UN Ro Ro chief executive Sedat Gümüsoglu saying lengthening of the first two ships will be completed in the opening half of 2018 with the whole operation accomplished in four years.
UN Ro Ro changed hands two years ago with new owner of Main Holding Actera's investment plans also including ship construction with three new vessels each costing €60m together with purchase of terminals and railway stretches over a large area to create a new line.
