Viking Line confirms Xiamen order
FerryIt’s official: Viking Line has confirmed the order for an EUR 194m cruise ferry to be built by the Chinese Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.
The 218m ferry will be delivered in 2020 and will be introduced on the Turku-Åland-Stockholm route, joining VIKING GRACE.
The LNG-powered, 63,000 gt newbuilding will have a capacity of 2,800 passengers and 1,500 lanemetres.
The agreement also includes an option for another vessel.
