High-speedAfter failing to secure the purchase of Alaska Marine Highway Systems (AMHS) two laid up fast ferries FAIRWEATHER and CHENEGA at auction in January, Spanish fast ferry operator Trasmapi upped its bid and its has been accepted by Alaska’s Department of Transportation (DOT).
