Three Italian crewmembers died in a tank accident
Ferry Three sailors were killed and another one was seriously intoxicated during maintenance works in the bilges of Italian ferry SANSOVINO (Caronte & Tourist), in Messina.
Although the investigation is still going on it appears that the crewmembers were hit by the poisonous hydrogen oxide fumes when opening the door of a tank, which caused them to faint immediately.
