Successful start of DFDS’s new direct France-Ireland service

FerryDFDS’s new direct Dunkerque-Rosslare freight service, bypassing a Great Britain land bridge, successfully started on 2 January when the Visentini Class ro-pax OPTIMA SEAWAYS left the Irish port for France with a load of over 120(*) lorries and unaccompanied trailers, the company said in a press statement on 4 January.
