Stockholm cruise season ended
PortThe Ports of Stockholm with its recently rebuilt Port of Värtan and its addition of a 260 metre long floating extendable pier at the Port of Nynäshamn, ended their cruise season in October with a total of 230 cruise ships carrying some 490.000 passengers, slightly down compared to 2015, but up compared to earlier years.
The cruise passengers spend a total of more than MSEK500 per year, which makes it an important economic addition to the city of Stockholm.
For 2017 already 273 cruise ships are booked, of which 74 are turnaround vessels.
