STENA VINGA leaves Jersey service ahead of return as CORBIÈRE SEAWAYS
FerryDFDS' STENA VINGA has completed her final sailing to Jersey under that name and is being repainted in DFDS colours before returning to service later in November as CORBIÈRE SEAWAYS. The name was chosen in a public vote. As part of the work she will be transferred to the UK register and fly the Red Ensign. DFDS bought the ship from Stena Line in May.
CÔTE D'ALBÂTRE is covering the Portsmouth–Jersey service from 3 to 19 November while STENA VINGA undergoes planned maintenance and preparations for her return, according to DFDS. The 2005-built RoPax is 125 metres long and has capacity for 400 passengers, 200 cars and 1,500 lane metres of freight. She has served Portsmouth–Jersey since DFDS took over the island's ferry contract in March 2025.
