POLSCA Baltic Ferries started operation
FerryThree shipowners, one brand, and a shared destination — Scandinavia. That became a reality on 30 March 2026, where the joint-venture company Polsca S.A. officially began operations, consolidating ticket sales, fleet management, and route networks from Polferries, Unity Line, and Euroafrica under the POLSCA Baltic Ferries banner.
The creation of POLSCA Baltic Ferries is the result of a strategic decision to pool strengths and boost the competitiveness of Polish ferry operators on the Baltic Sea. The new brand will serve key routes between Poland and Sweden — from Swinoujscie to Ystad and Trelleborg, and from Gdansk to Nynäshamn. A new route connecting Gdansk with Karlshamn is also in preparation, planned for launch in the first half of 2026.
At launch, POLSCA will operate a fleet of 11 RoPax ferries running scheduled services between Poland and Sweden. This operational scale will allow greater flexibility in managing sailing timetables, ensuring year-round service stability, and making more efficient use of port infrastructure.
It also provides a solid foundation for further expanding the route network later in 2026. POLSCA Baltic Ferries aims to become a modern, integrated ferry operator combining economies of scale with digitalised sales and customer service.
The consolidation of fleets and operational structures will enable the development of a unified online booking system, better alignment of the offer with real market needs, and a consistent strengthening of the Polish operator’s position on the Baltic.
