New MOL Ferry units announced for Tomakomai-Oarai route
FerryOn October 21, 2016, Shosen Mitsui Ferry (MOL Ferry) announced that it will launch the SUNFLOWER FURANO and the SUNFLOWER SAPPORO on the Tomakomai-Oarai route in May and August 2017 respectively.

'Furano' and 'Sapporo' are place names in Hokkaido.
They are being built at Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU)'s Isogo Works in Yokohama.
