Martinoli split with GNV to join Silversea
FerryRoberto Martinoli, Managing Director of Italian ferry company GNV since 2010, leaves his office on September 19 being replaced by Matteo Catani - Director of Sales and Marketing who joined GNV in 2007 – and replacing Enzo Visone as Managing Director of Silversea Cruises.
Genoa-native manager had a considerable and successful career in the cruise industry having been President and COO at Norwegian Cruise Line and Senior Vice President Operations at Costa Crociere, to subsequently become Executive Vice President Operations at Carnival Cruise Lines.
Rumour has it that GNV might be sold – for €300 million– to either Grimaldi or Onorato.
