Kenneth Gustavsson is appointed as the new CEO of Gotland Alandia Cruises
CruiseKenneth Gustavsson becomes the new CEO of Gotland Alandia Cruises, which operates the cruise ship BIRKA GOTLAND. The ship, which entered service with new owners in March this year, cruises between Stockholm, Åland, Gotland and a number of other Baltic Sea destinations. - The goal is to fully put BIRKA GOTLAND on the map as the Baltic Sea's best cruise experience, says Kenneth Gustavsson.
Kenneth Gustavsson has solid experience in the shipping industry in the Baltic Sea and for the past seven years has led the operational activities within Viking Line Scandinavia. Since May, he has served as commercial director for Gotland Alandia Cruises, which operates the ship BIRKA GOTLAND. Now he has been appointed by the board as the new CEO of the company.

We are convinced that he will successfully continue to strengthen and develop BIRKA GOTLAND as the Baltic Sea's only purebred cruise ship, says Jan Hanses, chairman of the board of Gotland Alandia Cruises.
BIRKA GOTLAND offers cruises mainly between Stockholm, Mariehamn and Visby but also operates popular destinations such as Österlen, High Coast, Bornholm and Riga.

Kenneth Gustavsson takes up his new role immediately and succeeds Marcus Risberg who was acting CEO of Gotland Alandia Cruises during the recruitment process.
