Grimaldi strengthens its lines between Italy and Spain with the EUROCARGO SALERNO
Ferry Grimaldi Naples recently deployed a third ship on the Savona-Barcelona-Valencia line, thus adding three weekly connections to the six existing ones, to match a soaring demand to connect North-West Italy with the Iberian Peninsula.
The EUROCARGO SALERNO is capable to carry 2,800 lane metres of rolling cargo and 500 cars.
In 2015, Grimaldi carried 216,000 cargo units (73,000 trailers and 143,000 cars) in overall 788 calls.
Across the first seven months of 2016 (369 calls) the motorway of the sea between Italy and Spain further developed recording 153,000 units (over 50,000 of which trailers and 100,000 vehicles).
