Euroafrica Shipping Lines’ JAN SNIADECKI sold to Greek buyer
FerryEuroafrica Shipping Lines’ 1988-built JAN SNIADECKI has been sold to a Greek buyer, believed to be Ainaftis. The vessel, which has operated for Unity Line, has already been renamed THALASSITIS for its new owner.
THALASSITIS becomes the second vessel in the fleet of Ainaftis, alongside the 1978-built ro-ro PELAGITIS, which the company bought in 2010 from Marine Atlantic (ex. ATLANTIC FREIGHTER).
Euroafrica's EPSILON has meanwhile started its new service for Unity Line between Swinoujscie and Trelleborg. This vessel was bought from Caronte & Tourist in 2022 and has been on charter to Irish Ferries for 10 years.
