DFDS expands their baltic route network
FerryDFDS takes over the freight and passenger route between Paldiski and Hanko from the Estonian company Navirail OÜ through a four year time charter agreement with the vessel SAILOR.
Through this agreement DFDS complements their existing route between Paldiski and Kapellskär that they acquired in 2011. Synergies will be had between the routes due to joint port callings at Paldiski and through access to DFDS systems and sales organisation.
The Paldiski-Hanko route has a maximum annual freight capacity of 1.15 million lane metres, 100.000 passengers and with a current annual turnover of around MDKK 80.
