DFDS delays start of new Calais-Sheerness freight-only service

Ro-roDFDS’s new daily Calais-Sheerness freight-only service was supposed to start on 1 June. However, DFDS has confirmed to Shippax that the start of this new dedicated freight service, aimed at pushing unaccompanied trailers from Dover to Sheerness, has been delayed to mid-July with the 2,475-lanemetre or 165-trailer capacity MAXINE still earmarked for the new daily return service.
