Damen Yichang launches compact ferry for APORTIL

FerryDamen Shipyard Group’s Yichang Shipyard in China launched the compact drive-through ferry BERLIN-RAMELAU on 10 May. The 67.3m long and 16m beam ro-pax follows Damen’s RoPax Ferry 6716 design and will operate for the Port Authority of Timor-Leste (APORTIL), connecting Timor-Leste’s capital Dili, the Oecusse enclave and the island of Ataúro.
