Zante Ferries temporarily takes over Samothraki ferry service

FerryThe sudden cessation of SAOS Ferries’ Alexandroupolis-Samothraki car ferry service in mid-August led to chaos on the island. The Greek Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy annulled SAOS Ferries’ contract with Hellenic Seaways and Seajets tonnage initially taking over.
